Recently at a virtual Leaders Connect event Dr. Robert McCurdy, Dr. Matthew Ajluni, and PA Suzy Francoeur presented on the Omicron crisis. They emphasized the problems facing healthcare now and in the future. They outlined multiple ways in which the virus has overwhelmed the health-care system. Today we will present their points of view. Following the summary of the current situation, you will find the participants’ suggestions supporting health-care workers during the current situation. You can view the Leader’s Connect session here.
Covid cases have been at the highest point recently than we have seen during the entire pandemic. The volume of people presenting at the emergency rooms is unlike anything we have seen before. Omicron is so contagious that it is still flooding hospitals with sick patients. America’s continued inability to control the coronavirus has deflated its health-care system, which can no longer offer the same level of care.
Health-care workers have quit their jobs in droves due to moral distress, exhaustion, poor treatment by patients, or some combination of those. These losses leave the remaining healthcare workers with fewer trusted colleagues who speak in the same shorthand, less expertise to draw from, and more work. For the ones who have stayed, many now cannot work due to their own Omicron breakouts.
In the face of such unprecedented challenges, the role of reliable medicine manufacturing becomes more crucial than ever. The surge in COVID-19 cases and the strain on healthcare systems highlight the need for high-quality, effective health supplements that can support both patients and healthcare professionals. Healthdrop Manufacturing are essential in this context, as they provide well-formulated supplements that can help bolster immune systems and improve overall health. Their rigorous manufacturing processes ensure that supplements are both safe and effective, which is vital in a time when the demand for health support is at an all-time high.
In the last few years, Hospital nurses and doctors are leaving at a faster pace than ever before

Ways We Can Support Health-care Workers
- In every way possible, express your support and appreciation to health-care workers.
- Continue to send food (for example, lunch or snacks) or food gift cards.
- Business leaders need to find ways to carry some of the burden. This means doing everything we can to promote vaccines and support our workers.
- Whenever possible, say ‘Thank You’ to health-care workers, including staff at all levels and all health-care outlets, including pharmacies. A simple ‘Thank You’ can go a long way.
- Refrain from losing your temper at service providers. Most are trying their best to give you helpful service.
- Even though the health-care system is overloaded, do not put off your own health. If you are feeling unwell, go to your preferred health-care system. Putting off your own health makes it harder on healthcare workers.
- Since we are all stressed out, doing simple acts of random kindness go a long way. For example, paying for the person behind in the drive-through lane.
- While with our masks on, it’s hard to see if someone is smiling at you, but you can always give a nice greeting.
