Executive Coaching for Individual Leaders and Teams
Executive Coaching
Rob takes a problem focused approach to executive coaching. He focuses on the specific problem and the pain the client is experiencing. He wants to know what exactly has motivated the clients to engage in coaching and what result they hope to gain in the process.
First: Clearly Understand the Issue
Once he and the client understand the problem, Rob uses his many years of coaching and clinical experience to enable change. Rob helps his clients understand the many factors that cause resistance to change.
Second: Sustaining Your Change
Next is working on sustaining the change. Compared to making the change, sustainability is much harder. The final stage of the coaching process is developing a sustainability plan.
Commonly Addressed Problems
Among the most common problems Rob has helped clients solve:
- Recognizing and correcting blind spots,
- Understanding leadership compared to management,
- Succession planning,
- Developing “soft skills”: ie emotional intelligence
