Stop comparing yourself to others. Do you want to destroy your self-esteem? Do you want to make yourself anxious and depressed? A simple way to accomplish this is to constantly compare yourself to others.
When you see something in others that you wish you had in yourself, ask yourself, “Do I want to trade my life for theirs?” Maybe they have a Porsche. What do you think it took to get it? Maybe it was bought with a large loan. Maybe it was earned at the cost of three marriages. Maybe it was earned by depriving a child of time with his or her parents.

When you envy something or some person, look at the whole kit and caboodle to decide whether you want to pay that price for what they have.
-
Instead, focus on your uniqueness.
-
Love your strengths and your special qualities.
-
There is only one of you.
-
Be proud of who you are.
-
Instead of focusing on what others have, see clearly what is there. Embrace it. Enjoy yourself.
